Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount is prepared to reject Arsenal to join Manchester United this summer.
The England star has been a mainstay for the Blues over the past four years but he is now eyeing an exit.
His current deal expires in June next year and The Athletic claim that he is leaning towards the Red Devils. Arsenal and Liverpool are also interested in the 24-year-old but he has the preference to sign for United.
Mount has yet to play under manager Erik ten Hag but the Dutchman wanted him on loan at Ajax.
A loan deal did not materialise from the Blues back then, but United now have a brilliant chance to land him. Chelsea are likely to cash in on his services and it is claimed that they will hold out for £60 million for his services.
Mount has had an injury plagued season but Ten Hag is nonetheless an admirer of the midfielder’s talents.
He is pushing the Red Devils to land his signature.
