Arsenal are pushing to land the signature of Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey this summer.
The Gunners currently have Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu as the right-back options but neither are specialists.
White and Tomiyasu are predominantly centre-backs. At the moment, the latter is on the sidelines with a knee issue.
Tomiyasu may not be available for the start of next season and reports claim that Arsenal are aiming to add cover.
Boey has been on their radar for the past few months and the club have reportedly made an opening bid for him.
The Gunners are willing to pay €20m for his services but Galatasaray are holding out for at least €25m to sanction his sale.
A fresh round of talks are likely to be held soon. Arsenal don’t want to miss out on Boey amid widespread transfer interest.
Apart from the Gunners, the likes of Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan are interested in signing the young star.
