Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing two Manchester City stars during this summer’s transfer window.
The Gunners had a wonderful Premier League campaign. They finished second in the table, five points behind the Cityzens.
The club are now aiming to add more quality into the squad and Sky Sports claim that Mikel Arteta could raid his former club.
The Spaniard is keen on signing midfielder Ilkay Gundogan whose contract with Pep Guardiola’s side expires at the end of June.
Gundogan has a lucrative proposal from Barcelona, but the Gunners are optimistic of luring him to north London this summer.
Meanwhile, full-back Joao Cancelo is another top target for Arteta as he looks to improve creativity from the flanks next season.
As things stand, there is a big difference in the valuation between the clubs, but a middle ground could be reached in the near future.
Cancelo was loaned out to Bayern during the second half of last season. Similar to Gundogan, Barcelona also want to sign him.
