Chelsea are planning to include Ruben Loftus-Cheek as a makeweight to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer.
The Blues are aiming to land a new shot-stopper in the coming transfer window, and Onana is the main target for them.
The club are reluctant to pay the €60m fee for the 27-year-old and they are instead looking to propose a player-plus-cash deal.
As per Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are admirers of Loftus-Cheek and the Blues could offer him as part of the deal for Onana.
The London giants currently value their graduate at €20m and they are aiming to slash the same amount from Onana’s fee.
The Cameroonian star joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer last summer and the club are prepared to sell him for a big profit.Chelsea seem to be leading the race for his signature but they could face late competition from Manchester United for him.
Erik ten Hag managed Onana at Ajax and could eye a reunion at United.
