Arsenal are willing to make a record bid for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice, according to The Daily Mail.
The north London giants have been long-term admirers of the England international and are finally prepared to sign him.
Rice lifted the Europa Conference League title yesterday and West Ham owner David Sullivan has confirmed that he will leave the club.
He did not mention the interested teams, but The Daily Mail confirm that Arsenal are favourites to sign the 24-year-old ace.
The Gunners are planning to make an offer in the region of £92 million, and are optimistic that it will be sufficient to seal the deal.
Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also interested in the England star, but the former are working on a limited budget.
Their pursuit of Rice depends on player sales. Meanwhile, Rice is not keen on moving abroad with Bayern during the summer.Arsenal are in pole position to land his signature. Chelsea are not in the race due to their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
