Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund has opened the door to joining Manchester United this summer.
The Denmark international is one of the best young strikers in European football and he has been likened to Erling Haaland.
United are interested in signing him and speaking to Berlingske, he has welcomed the possibility of joining the club.
Hojlund insisted that he has not had any video call with Erik ten Hag, but added that he would be delighted to join United.
He said: “There has been no video call. I can’t say anything about that. It’s a huge club, so I must have done something right if it says they want me.”
“My goal is to reach the top shelf, and you can say that Manchester United is. So it will be huge.”
Hojlund registered 16 goals and seven assists last season for Sturm Graz and Atalanta. He joined the Italian club in late August.
His playing style is quite familiar to Haaland and many believe he has the potential to become as good as the Norwegian in future.
