Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is furious with the hierarchy as Arsenal close in on signing West Han United midfielder Declan Rice.
The Red Devils finished an impressive third in the Premier League last season and also won their first trophy after nearly six years.
Despite this, United have not made any moves in the transfer market and there is currently uncertainty over the budget on the table.
According to The Sun, Ten Hag views Rice as a perfect addition to his squad and has been desperate to make an approach for him.
It is added that he is now angry at the board for the lack of intent. Arsenal are currently in pole position to sign the England star.
The Gunners failed with an opening bid of £90m for Rice earlier this month and a new proposal is expected in the coming days.
Meanwhile, there is also the possibility that Manchester City could hijack the deal. They could offer Kalvin Phillips as part of the move.
