Manchester United have turned their attention to signing Monaco defender Axel Disasi, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils were initially favourites to land Kim Min-jae from Napoli, but the situation has completely changed.
Bayern Munich recently entered the pursuit of his services and they have handed him a staggering €10 million salary after tax.
The German champions have also offered a huge commission to his agent and are now favourites to land his services.
It is now claimed that United are likely to miss out on the 26-year-old and they could prioritise a move for Disasi.
Disasi has already given the green light to join United, but the club have yet to make a proposal to sign him from Monaco.
The French outfit are open to selling him for €40-50 million, which is well within the financial capacity of United.
The Red Devils could make a formal bid for the ex-Reims man once Min-jae finalises his anticipated Bayern move.
