Borussia Dortmund are reportedly aiming to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga on loan for the season.
The United graduate has been used sparingly during the ongoing campaign and he has been largely a substitute for the club.
Erik ten Hag currently has Antony as his preferred player on the right wing and Elanga does not feature in his starting plans.
According to talkSPORT, Dortmund are now exploring a loan deal for Elanga and the final decision is up to the Red Devils.
Ten Hag has kept Jadon Sancho away from the first team plans in order to improve himself mentally as well as physically.
Hence, the England star may not return to the line-up soon, but there is Facundo Pellistri in the squad to deputise for Antony.
We won’t be surprised if Elanga leaves on loan. Dortmund could face competition in the form of Frank Lampard’s Everton.
Elanga could prefer a challenge with the German giants over the Toffees, who are currently in a relegation battle in England.
