Manchester United have decided against pursuing a deal for Randal Kolo Muani due to the hefty asking price.
The Red Devils are determined to land a new striker this summer and Muani is one of those on their radar.
However, a deal seems difficult at the current point of time due to Eintracht Frankfurt’s transfer valuation.
Muani was simply exceptional for the Bundesliga club last term, scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists.
Frankfurt valued him at €60m before the World Cup, but his form in recent months has raised that figure.
The German side now want €100m for his services, and have no plans of reducing their asking price.
This has seemingly ended United’s interest in him, considering they are working on a reduced budget.
United have only €140m to spend in the current transfer window, but it could increase with player sales.
However, there are no assurances over how much they could recoup. United can only play the waiting game.
