Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly pushing to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer.
The Frenchman was the subject of interest from the Red Devils at the start of last season, but a deal broke down at the last hurdle.
Personal terms were not agreed between them, but this has not ended the speculation linking him with a move to Old Trafford.
According to Corriere dello Sport, United are back in the race to sign the 28-year-old under the recommendation of Ten Hag.
The Dutch tactician was disappointed at missing out on his signature last year and is now pushing United to make an offer.
Rabiot’s contract with the Bianconeri concludes at the end of the month and the Italian side have offered him a new deal on €7m per year.
It remains to be seen whether United can provide him with a better salary. They refused to meet his €10m per year demands last time.
