Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio is expected to speak with Manchester United over the potential transfer of Andre Onana.
The Red Devils are likely to part ways with goalkeeper David de Gea when his contract expires at the end of the month.
Onana has been identified as the main target to replace him and Gazzetta dello Sport claim that a meeting is scheduled with Inter.
Ausilio is expected to hold talks with United and Onana’s agent, and it is anticipated that a transfer could be agreed.
The San Siro giants currently value the 27-year-old at £43m, and they expect United to pay the entire fee up front.
The Nerazzurri are planning to replace Onana with a low-cost signing such as Hugo Lloris or Keylor Navas this summer.
They plan to use the funds recouped from his sale for the permanent purchase of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.
Lukaku rejoined the Serie A club on loan last season. Inter could sign him for around £35m from the west London outfit.
