Arsenal are negotiating the final details to sign West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The north London giants have been active during the first two weeks of the transfer window and they have already signed Kai Havertz.
Rice could be the next in line to join the club. The Gunners made a staggering £105 million for his services on Tuesday night.
The proposal has been accepted by the Hammers and talks are now ongoing to sort the payment terms for the British record transfer.Arsenal want to pay the entire fee in instalments over four seasons, but the Hammers prefer the sum over a period of 18 months.
A middle ground is expected to be found in the next 24 hours with the Gunners keen on signing the 24-year-old before pre-season starts.
After Rice, the Gunners are expected to step up their pursuit of Jurrien Timber. They have already made a second bid to Ajax.
