AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on signing Manchester United midfielder Fred this summer.
The Brazilian was in-and-out of the starting line-up for United last term, and he is now likely to head for the exit door.
His current contract expires at the end of next season, and United have decided against negotiating a renewal.
They want £20 million for his exit, but may have to lower their demands to attract interest from multiple teams.
Roma and Fulham are said to be interested in the former Shakhtar man, though they won’t meet the price tag.
Fred recently said that he is very happy at Old Trafford, but added that he could leave for regular playing time.
The Brazilian made 12 Premier League starts last term, but majority were when Christian Eriksen was injured.
With Mason Mount set to join the club soon, United may decide to offload Fred to recoup some of the funds spent.
Aside from the 30-year-old, the likes of Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay could also leave the club.
