Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has agreed personal terms with Manchester United over a summer transfer.
The Morocco international has been in exceptional form over the past year and he is pushing for a bigger challenge elsewhere.
Amrabat has the preference to move to Spain this summer with Barcelona, but the Spanish club don’t have the funds at the moment.
Hence, he is prepared to consider alternative options, and La Nazione claim that United are strongly interested in landing him.
They are apparently ready to double his current weekly wages, but the big stumbling block could be the asking price for him.
United have already spent 50 per cent of their £120m transfer budget on Mason Mount and could spend the remainder on Andre Onana.
This leaves them with nothing in hand for the purchase of Amrabat, who is currently valued in the region of £25 million by Fiorentina.
The Florence outfit are quite clear that they want the entire fee in one payment and won’t accept an instalment package.
