Arsenal are set for a financial boost with the departure of midfielder Granit Xhaka this summer.
The Switzerland international has agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen and he is expected to join them soon.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has given the green light for the deal, and it could be confirmed after Declan Rice’s arrival at Arsenal.
Earlier in May, it was revealed that Xhaka could be sold for around €15m, but Arsenal are now set to receive €25m for his exit.
The Gunners seem to have benefited from Xhaka’s brilliant form last term where he scored nine goals and provided seven assists.
Aside from Xhaka, the Gunners could also part ways with Thomas Partey amid interest from Saudi Arabian clubs and Juventus.
The north London giants want Romeo Lavia to replace the Ghanaian star and talks are already underway with his representative.
Lavia is expected to cost around €58m from Southampton. Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are also interested in him.
