Manchester United have made a second verbal offer to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Red Devils are looking for a new number one, and they have identified Onana as their priority target for the transfer window.
Talks are currently underway with the Nerazzurri, and Di Marzio claims that a second verbal offer of €45m has been made to Inter.
However, the proposal is expected to be rejected. The Serie A giants are reluctant to accept less than €60m for the Cameroon star.
They are willing to negotiate on the fixed fee, but won’t accept less than €50m up front for the 27-year-old, who has already agreed terms.
Onana was a key player under manager Erik ten Hag at former club Ajax, and he is open to reuniting with the Dutch tactician at Old Trafford.
United remain optimistic of securing his services, but they have identified Feyenoord’s Justin Bijlow as a cheaper alternative to Onana.
