Ajax defender Jurrien Timber has completed his medical ahead of his move to Arsenal this summer.
The Dutchman recently underwent a series of medical tests with the Gunners and they have now received the green light for the transfer.
According to Sky Sports News, the procedure was fully successful and Timber is expected to put pen-to-paper on a long-term deal.
He looks set to become the club’s second acquisition for the transfer window following the arrival of Kai Havertz from rivals Chelsea.
The Gunners are likely to announce Timber’s arrival in the coming days and the same should be the case for Declan Rice from West Ham United.
The Englishman had his medical test alongside Timber over the weekend and he is expected to pen his contract after his ongoing vacation.
It is anticipated that he will sign his deal before the end of the week such that he can travel for the club’s upcoming United States pre-season tour.
