Serie A giants Juventus have made a proposal to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues are prepared to offload the Belgium international this summer and he won’t be travelling for the US pre-season tour.
Inter Milan were initially interested in signing him, but have cooled their pursuit after Lukaku’s poor conduct earlier last month.
Lukaku reportedly held talks with Juventus before the Champions League final, and Inter have been made aware of the same.
As a result, the Bianconeri are now in pole position to land the former Manchester United man, but a deal is not straightforward.
They are prepared to pay €37.5m up front for the striker, but only if they manage to offload Dusan Vlahovic before August 4.Chelsea prefer to part ways with Lukaku before the end of the month, but as things stand, they can only play the waiting game.
Lukaku has not spoken to the Blues manager thus far. He has no plans of staying at the west London giants next season.
