Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana ahead of his transfer.
The Cameroonian star is the Red Devils’ main goalkeeper target for the summer transfer window. Talks are advanced to sign him.
United have already made multiple bids on the table, and it is now reported that they are close to finalising a transfer fee.
While this happens, The Athletic reveal that United have formally agreed personal terms with the former Ajax star.
Onana is expected to pen a five-year contract with the Red Devils. He could undergo his medical in the next 48 hours.
Should things go as planned, Onana could travel with the first-team squad for the US pre-season tour on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old has rich experience of playing under manager Erik ten Hag at Ajax, and should be an excellent signing.
He is one of the best ball-playing goalkeepers in world football, and should enhance United’s title chances next season.
