Arsenal are ready to offload midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga when the transfer window reopens this summer.
The Belgium international signed for the Gunners from Anderlecht for £15 million in 2021 but has failed to make his mark.
He was largely ineffective during his debut season and he is currently on loan at Palace where he has not made a huge impact.
It is now reported by Football Insider that the Gunners are ready to sell the midfielder for good after Mikel Arteta’s feedback.
There are no concrete offers on the table but we won’t be surprised if Burnley make an approach to land his services.
Vincent Koulibaly managed Lokonga during his time at Anderlecht and he is reportedly keen on reuniting with the midfielder.
The Clarets could propose another loan deal for Lokonga. They could try and sweeten the deal with a buy-back option for him.
Aside from Lokonga, the likes of Granit Xhaka and Fabio Silva could head for the exit door during the summer.
