Arsenal are set to face competition from Paris Saint-Germain to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby this summer.
The Gunners were interested in landing the Frenchman in the January transfer window but were put off by the £88 million price tag.
They are prepared to try again at the end of the season and Standard Sport claim that he could be prised away for around £65m.
However, they won’t be alone in the player’s pursuit. The Gunners are now set to face fresh competition from Paris Saint-Germain.
Les Parisiens are reportedly keen on landing their former player as they prepare for the free transfer exit of Lionel Messi.
Diaby has had another productive season at Leverkusen, bagging 14 goals and 11 assists from 43 appearances in all competitions.
Leverkusen are ready to cash in on him in the next transfer window as they plan to recoup funds for new signings for next season.
Aside from Diaby, the Bundesliga outfit plan to part ways with Jeremie Frimpong and Piero Hincapie to boost their summer budget.
