Arsenal are expected to confirm the signing of Chelsea forward Kai Havertz this week, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The Gunners agreed a deal worth £65 million for the Germany international last week, and he is now completing the necessary formalities.
He underwent the first part of his medical on Monday, and Plettenberg claims that the transfer will be officially announced soon.
Havertz will have his photoshoot and first interview in the next couple of days, and he should be unveiled to the fans this week.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man struggled during his time at Chelsea. He netted just nine goals over the entire 2022/23 season.
Despite this, manager Mikel Arteta was eager to bring him to the Emirates Stadium and believes he can turn around his fortunes.
Aside from Havertz, Arsenal are working tirelessly to sign Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber from West Ham United and Ajax.
They could end up paying a club-record fee of around £100m for Rice while Timber could cost around £40m from Ajax.
