Brighton & Hove Albion are exploring a summer deal for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, according to The Telegraph.
The 23-year-old had a wonderful season on loan with Crystal Palace in 2021/22 before breaking through the Blues first-team.
However, he struggled to make a similar impression for the Blues last term, and the London giants are now contemplating his sale.Newcastle United have already expressed an interest and it is now claimed that Brighton have entered the pursuit of him.
The South Coast outfit signed Billy Gilmour on a permanent deal from Chelsea last summer while loaning Levi Colwill.
They are now planning to propose a transfer for Gallagher, and could get him for a knockdown fee during the summer.Chelsea are currently looking to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton. The Seagulls may want Gallagher as part of the deal.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side could ask for Gallagher for less than his £50 million price tag with the Blues eager to land Caicedo.
