Chelsea have reportedly informed Romelu Lukaku that they won’t entertain loan bids for him during the current transfer window.
The Belgian spent the previous campaign with Inter Milan on loan. He scored 14 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions.
The Nerazzurri are open to re-signing him on loan this summer, but Chelsea are quite clear that they won’t consider another temporary deal.
This is a potential headache for the former Manchester United man, considering he has no plans of moving to Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hilal were prepared to pay around £47 million for him, but Lukaku made it clear that he does not want to leave European football.
AC Milan are said to be interested in signing him, but given Lukaku’s affinity towards Inter, he is unlikely to join their fierce rivals.
Lukaku currently has three more years left on his Chelsea contract, and the Blues may end up keeping him in the squad for the next campaign.
