Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has confirmed that he would like to return to Barcelona this summer.
The former Arsenal man moved to Stamford Bridge from the Catalans last summer following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski.
However, he has since struggled for regular playing time and he is widely expected to leave the Blues at the end of the season.
Speaking to Djam Life on Tiktok, Aubameyang has now acknowledged that he is open to reuniting with the Blaugrana once more.
He said: “I’d like to return to Barcelona… but we will see.”
Barcelona can’t afford to pay any fee for Aubameyang at the moment amid the financial restrictions set by the Spanish La Liga.
Hence, their only way to land Aubameyang could be on a free transfer and it is left to be seen whether the Blues agree to it.
The London giants would not want to pay wages for an outcast and could accept to mutually cut ties without any compensation.
