Manchester United and Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba, according to 90min.
The centre-back has been a vital player at the heart of Leverkusen’s defence, but he is expected to be sold during the summer transfer window.
Spurs have already made initial contact with the Bundesliga outfit, but his entourage have also informed his availability to United and Chelsea.
United are on the look out for a new central defender, and they are currently looking at a potential move for Monaco star Axel Disasi.
However, the club have yet to make a formal approach for him, and it remains to be seen whether they step up their interest in Tapsoba.
Meanwhile, the Blues could invest in another centre-back in the coming weeks. They are currently about to sell Kalidou Koulibaly.Trevoh Chalobah could also head for the exit door. Lazio and AC Milan are among candidates that could pursue a deal for their graduate.
