Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram this summer.
The Frenchman has had a good campaign for the Bundesliga outfit, bagging 16 goals and six assists in all competitions.
He is ready to leave the club when his contract expires in June and Bild claim that United are leading the race to sign him.
AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested but there are claims that the player could prefer a move to England.Chelsea have also been linked with the former Guingamp star, though he is expected to turn down their proposal this summer.
Thuram is eyeing European football next season and is widely expected to give priority to clubs in the Champions League.
Thuram could be considered as an upgrade on Anthony Martial ahead of next season. Martial has been touted to leave United.
The striker is currently on wages of around £50,000-a-week and will expect to treble his salary with a move to Old Trafford.
