Manchester United will have to pay at least €60m to sign Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils recently agreed a deal for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount and he is expected to join the club in the coming days.
United are also looking to sign a new centre-forward, and Alfredo Pedulla claims that Atalanta won’t accept less than €60m for Hojlund.
Erik ten Hag’s side are currently on working on a limited budget before player sales and it is uncertain whether they will meet the price tag.Fabrizio Romano reports that United are reluctant to overpay for the 19-year-old, who has yet to prove himself at the highest level.
He has shown glimpses of his ability. Hojlund managed 10 goals and four assists for Atalanta, but that does not deserve a high transfer fee.
Instead of paying €60m for Hojlund, United should consider spending €80m on Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos, who scored 27 goals last term.
