Manchester United are serious in their pursuit of Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, according to Sport.
The Red Devils were linked with the Morocco international in January, but Fiorentina refused to accept a loan deal.
Barcelona also failed with a similar proposal, and it is now claimed that United could be favourites to secure his services.
Amrabat is expected to leave La Viola this summer, considering his current contract is due to expire at the end of next season.
The Florence outfit value him at around €25m, and reports claim that United have made contact with his camp already.
Amrabat has the preference to join Barcelona, but the Spanish outfit can’t afford him amid their ongoing Financial Fair Play issues.
Hence, the 26-year-old is open to alternative options, and he could end up at United during the upcoming summer transfer window.Liverpool have also been linked with him, but United have a clear advantage after qualifying for the Champions League.
