Manchester United will reportedly have to pay €25 million to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer this summer.
The Red Devils signed the Austrian on loan in January and he had a decent impact before suffering a knee injury this month.
Sabitzer has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign but Sky Germany claim that he could still return to Old Trafford.
United are contemplating the prospect of bringing him back to the club but Bayern are unlikely to sell him for a cut-price fee.
The German champions are willing to do business with United, provided they are prepared to pay a fee in the region of €25 million.
Sabitzer scored three goals and provided an assist in 18 games for United. He was largely in-and-out of the starting line-up for them.
United are currently on the hunt for a young creative midfielder and this could have affect their pursuit of Sabitzer this summer.
They may not spend on Sabitzer with the huge outlay required to purchase a young upcoming star during the next transfer window.
