West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has arrived at London Colney for the second part of his Arsenal medical.
The England international has been the Gunners’ top target for the transfer window, and a deal is close to completion.
A club-record fee of £105m was agreed with the Hammers, and he is currently with the Gunners to finalise the formalities.
Rice completed the first part of his medical earlier today, and he has now travelled to London Colney for the second phase.
The 24-year-old will also have his photoshoot and first interview very soon and could be presented to the fans by tomorrow.
Aside from Rice, the Gunners are also working on the £40m transfer of defender Jurrien Timber from Ajax simultaneously.
Timber completed his medical tests earlier today. There is a higher chance that his arrival could be announced before Rice’s.
The Dutchman should be a fantastic acquisition as he can play in central defence or on the right side of the backline.
