Paris Saint-Germain are set to provide stiff competition to Manchester United in the race to sign Goncalo Ramos.
Ramos had a brilliant 2022/23 season with Benfica. He registered 27 goals and 12 assists for the club in all competitions.
His brilliant campaign has attracted big-club interest, and A Bola claim that PSG and United are leading the pursuit of him.
Les Parisiens are currently weighing up an approach for the 22-year-old, and it is left to be seen whether United make their own.
Benfica value Ramos at around €80 million. This should be easily affordable for PSG with their financial backing.
United also have plenty of funds to spend this summer, but the club are reluctant to overpay with Financial Fair Play issues.
They have preferred to bargain for a lower sum on players. This may not work with Benfica, who have already reduced their demands.
The Primeira Liga giants initially valued Ramos at more than €100m, but are now willing to accept €80m to part ways for him.
