Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has reportedly informed Chelsea that he has no plans of moving to Saudi Arabia this summer.
The 30-year-old returned to Inter Milan on loan last season. He scored 14 goals and provided seven assists for the Nerazzurri.
The San Siro giants are prepared to re-sign him on a permanent basis, but as things stand, they are yet to meet the €45m price tag.
A number of Saudi clubs have also approached the Blues, but Lukaku has made it clear that he wants to continue in Europe.
The former Manchester United man has the clear preference to rejoin Inter, and he is prepared to hold out for the transfer.Chelsea want to offload him as soon as possible to take his huge wages out of their wage bill, but may have to wait longer.
Inter have failed with an opening bid of €25m plus add-ons, but they are planning to make an improved offer very soon.
