Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku is set to return to training with Chelsea from Tuesday, according to Evening Standard.
The 30-year-old has been deemed surplus to requirements by the west London giants, but there are no concrete offers for now.
Inter were keen on landing him on a permanent basis, but their interest ended as soon as he started speaking with Juventus.
The Bianconeri are now considered favourites to sign him for €40m, but an offer will depend on Dusan Vlahovic’s exit.
The Turin giants are looking to offload Vlahovic by August 4. If they succeed, they will make a move for Lukaku.
Until then, Lukaku has no choice but to return to the Blues for training.
He won’t be involved in the pre-season tour of USA, but will instead spend time in Cobham working on his fitness levels.
Aside from Juventus, Al-Hilal are also tracking Lukaku and have not given up on convincing him to move to Saudi Arabia.
