Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly in contact with Chelsea owner Todd Boehly over the transfer of Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic was a fringe player for the Blues last season, and he is widely expected to leave the club in the coming weeks.
The Blues are eyeing £40 million for his services, but Milan are aiming to secure a discount due to his contract situation.
His current deal expires in just over 12 months and Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Milan are in direct contact with Boehly.
Pulisic was linked with a loan move away from the Blues last summer following an internal fallout with Thomas Tuchel.
However, his switch was blocked by the German and he ended up with a hugely disappointing campaign with the Blues.
The Blues are now prepared to cash in on him, but may have to accept a knockdown price due to his poor form last term.
Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with an interest but they are yet to make any form of approach to the London side.
