Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka this summer.
The youngster joined the Blues from Aston Villa last summer, but he was sparingly used in the first-team in his debut season.
Ahead of the next transfer window, the Rossoneri have now expressed an interest in signing the Englishman on a year-long loan.
The Rossoneri have a good relationship with the Blues and they have already signed Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud from them.
The club were recently interested in pursuing a deal for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, but their focus has now changed towards Chukwuemeka.
The former Villa graduate struggled for regular minutes last term, but his fortunes could change at Chelsea under Mauricio Pochettino.
The Blues are planning to part ways with Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic in the next few weeks.
This should provide Chukwuemeka with a breakthrough opportunity and Chelsea could resist the chance to loan him out next term.
