Manchester United have been handed a big injury boost ahead of the FA Cup final against Manchester City next weekend.
The Red Devils ended their league campaign with four successive wins and they will now face the Cityzens at the Wembley Stadium.
Ahead of the game, they have received a timely boost with manager Erik ten Hag confirming that Antony could be available again.
The Brazilian was stretchered out with an ankle injury against Chelsea and Ten Hag initially revealed that the setback was ‘serious’.
However, the Dutchman has now revealed that the attacker could be fit in time for the FA Cup final showdown in the English capital.
He said: “We’ve all seen how he came off and it didn’t look great but the first assessment is not too bad, there is a good opportunity he is available for the cup final next week.”
If Antony is not deemed fit for the Manchester derby, it is likely that Jadon Sancho will continue on the right side of the Red Devils attack.
