Tottenham have completed a deal to bring Ange Postecoglou as the club’s new manager. The White Hart Lane side will bring the Australian manager to the club on a four-year deal, and he will officially move on July 1st.
Having brought domestic treble success to Celtic this campaign, Postecoglou was always high up the list for Spurs when deciding their next candidate to take the role at the club.
In an article posted on the club’s website, Spurs’ chairman Daniel Levy said: “Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play. He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy – everything that is important to our Club. We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead.”
It is understood that Postecoglou will be given a budget of more than £150 million to spend on new players, and will be tasked with retaining star player Harry Kane.
