Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic has rejected a transfer to Lyon due to his ambition to join AC Milan this summer.
The USA international has entered the final year of his Chelsea contract, and he is expected to be sold in the coming weeks.
Milan recently made a €14m bid for his services, but their proposal was bettered by Lyon, who proposed to pay €25m.
The Blues are happy to accept Les Gones’ bid for the forward, but Pulisic has made it clear that he would prefer Milan.
Hence, he is likely to stay at the club for the time being. Milan will have to improve their bid to convince the Blues to sell.
Aside from Pulisic, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Hakim Ziyech are among other forwards that could leave Chelsea.
Ziyech was on the verge of signing for Al Nassr last week, but the move broke down after he failed a couple of medicals.
The Moroccan has no offers on the table after the setback.
