Manchester United are close to agreeing a deal to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The Red Devils have been in constant talks with the Nerazzurri for the 27-year-old. They are now on the verge of an agreement.
After two failed bids of €45m and €50m, United have now agreed to pay €50m plus €5m in add-ons to land the goalkeeper.
A transfer could be finalised in the coming hours. Onana looks set to become United’s second summer signing after Mason Mount.
The Cameroonian has already agreed personal terms with United, and he could undergo his medical as soon as the fee is formally agreed.
United’s next friendly will be against Lyon on Wednesday. There is a good possibility that Onana could make his debut against them.
Following the game against Les Gones, the club will travel to the United States to face Arsenal, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
They will return home to face RC Lens before another friendly against Athletic Bilbao in the lead-up to the new league season.
