Arsenal are interested in landing three Premier League stars during the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.
The Gunners are currently in the process of selling Granit Xhaka to Bayer Leverkusen and manager Mikel Arteta wants a direct replacement.
The Spaniard is keen on adding an experienced face in the squad and it is claimed that Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan is the main option.
Gundogan’s contract is due to expire at the end of the campaign and the Gunners are set to propose to sign him for around three years.
Elsewhere, the Gunners are hot on the trail of West Ham’s Declan Rice and there are suggestions that personal terms have been agreed.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Mason Mount is also on the club’s radar with his contract with the Blues due to expire in June of next year.
Mount has refused to pen an extension thus far and the Gunners are aiming for an ambitious swoop of his services from their London rivals.
