Arsenal could reportedly compete with Barcelona to sign Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo in the summer.
The north London giants currently have Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko as their first-choice full-back choices.Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney are the back-up options but Mikel Arteta may look for a better upgrade.
Tomiyasu is sidelined with a knee injury and reports claim that the Japanese star may not be fit until early October.
Meanwhile, Tierney has been heavily linked with a move to Newcastle United after struggling to nail down a starting spot.
Amidst this, Fichajes claim that the Gunners could swoop for Joao Cancelo, who could be sold for around £35 million.
Cancelo joined Bayern Munich on loan from Manchester City in January but they have no plans to purchase him.
Hence, he will return to the Etihad. Arsenal could go head-to-head with Barcelona to land the former Inter man.
Cancelo can play in both full-back roles and he has 14 goal involvements this term. He could be a regular starter.
