Liverpool are looking at the prospect of signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves this summer.
The Portugal international has spent the past six years with the Midlands outfit but he is expected to move on.
His current deal expires in just over 12 months and Sport claim that he has no desire to pen another extension with them.
Neves has the dream of joining Barcelona this summer but as things stand, manager Xavi Hernandez is not keen on him.
Hence, he could be forced to look at alternative options and it is claimed that the Reds are keeping tabs on his situation.Liverpool have been long-term admirers of Neves and they were initially interested after Wolves’ top-flight promotion.
They have continued to be linked over the years and could finally land his signature during this summer’s transfer window.Wolves are unlikely to offload Neves on the cheap amid their Financial Fair Play issues. They could demand at least £40m.
