Manchester United have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer.
The Cameroonian signed for the Nerazzurri on a free transfer from Ajax last summer and had a brilliant debut season with them.
He kept an impressive 20 clean sheets and had a lively Champions League final, though Inter were on the losing side to Man City.
It is now claimed by ESPN that United have joined the Blues in the pursuit of Onana, who could be sold in the coming weeks.
Inter are prepared to listen to offers of around €60m for the 27-year-old, who has also opened the door to a summer departure.
Onana has had a long-standing dream of playing in the Premier League. He could finally fulfil his wish with United and Chelsea keen.Chelsea have already spoken with his agent and Inter, but United could beat them to his signature due to a couple of key factors.
Erik ten Hag was Onana’s manager at Ajax. A reunion could be on the cards. United also have Champions League football unlike Chelsea.
