Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has turned down a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia to continue playing in Europe.
The Belgium international spent the previous campaign on loan at Inter Milan. He scored 14 goals and provided seven assists from 37 outings.
Inter are open to re-signing him from the Blues, but the Nerazzurri prefer another loan deal rather than a permanent transfer agreement.
It is now reported by Fabrizio Romano that Lukaku has no plans of moving to Saudi Arabia despite receiving a lucrative weekly salary package.Chelsea were hoping to cut their losses by selling him to the Middle East, but they now need to wait for interest from fellow European clubs.
Aside from Lukaku, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shares the same stance, and does not wish to move to the Saudi Pro League during the summer.
The former Arsenal man was hoping to rejoin Barcelona, but the Catalan giants are focusing on signing Vitor Roque from Athletico PR instead.
